John Clayton Mayer, nacido el 16 de octubre de 1977, es un músico, compositor y productor discográfico estadounidense.Comenzó su carrera tocando rock acústico, acercándose poco a poco hacia el género del blues, llegando a colaborar en 2005 con artistas como B. B. King, Buddy Guy y Eric Clapton y formando el John Mayer Trio.
