Radiohead, discografia x mediafire
Para algunos una de las bandas claves de finales de los años 90 y comienzos del siglo XXI por su sugestiva capacidad de composición experimental que bebe de fuentes sonoras como Pink Floyd, R.E.M., Joy Division, Smiths o Nirvana y mantiene una esencia independiente que evita la trivial comercialidad, originando singulares desarrollos y texturas dentro de la clásica estructura pop y una inventiva lírica para crear deprimentes, taciturnas y afligidas atmósferas, en narraciones distinguidas por la emocional vocalidad de su líder Thom Yorke.
Para otros un conjunto sobrevalorado, con música derivativa y autocomplaciente, cuya carencia de habilidad instrumental se solapa con el auxilio de la experimentación sónica, la incisión atmosférica y la recurrencia de historias de desazón y angustia que rezuman artificio tristón.
Lo cierto es que la música de Radiohead provoca admiración y controversia, influyendo notablemente en una nueva hornada de bandas, especialmente tras la aparición de sus obras cumbres, “The Bends” y “OK Computer”.
