Voy a ir posteando las noticias menores aca abajo por que no da para hacer un tema con cada pedacito de informacion. Se supone que Omar iba a ponerse a trabajar con Zach Hill en un album nuevo de El Grupo Nuevo, no se si lo estan haciendo ahora o lo tienen planeado para mas tarde. Al album de Zechs Marquise ya lo mandaron a mezclar y masterizar.

Telesterion sale el 16 de abril

Le Butcherettes, Omar Rodriguez Lopez Group y Zechs Marquise van a estar tocando junto a otras bandas de Sargent House en el festival SXSW entre el 11 y el 20 de marzo.

Va a estar muy bueno ese show, alguien estaba pidiendo que lo graben para venderlo en bandcamp. Tambien se supone que van a poner a la venta el dvd con el show del Fuji Rock (de donde salio el video de Uno).
Ayer salio el disco de The Memorials, se puede escuchar entero en myspace. En parte es una decepcion, Thomas no aporto nada muy copado ni nuevo, muy parecido a lo que hizo en discos anteriores, el guitarrista esta de adorno y la mina que canta tiene un tono bastante molesto, es como si Omar hiciera un disco con Mariah Carey...

Omar va a tocar en Coachella con "miembros sorpresa" el 15 de abril. Me hace pensar que el album de The Mars Volta va a salir despues de abril... no creo que vayan a estar haciendo una gira solista durante el lanzamiento.

Copado, aunque dudo que pasen a Omar igual, va a haber como 20 bandas tocando al mismo tiempo pero es probable que graben un poquito de cada set y despues lo saquen en dvd (en el dvd de Coachella del 2004 creo que habia salido un cacho de Take The Veil).

Hay anunciados varios shows en en Estados Unidos

Se viene otro album llamado The Somnambulists, uno de los temas esta en Telesterion, y en la version de vinilo va a haber otro tema nuevo del que todavia no dijeron nada.

when we release it. don't have a date yet. Omar's working on the extras still but they have definitely been working on it with the plan to release in the next few months hopefully, but dont' hold me to it. Omar takes forever sometimes....

How are our fine musicians of Big Sir doing on their new album and possible future shows?
they have given the finals to lars to mix. just waiting. no touring available yet
