FreeStyl Windows Mobile v0.1.1.0 (Freeware)

Overview: whoneedsaniphone has now become FreeStylWM. Freeware iPhone & WM mixed interface Launcher Application.



FreeStyl Launcher:
The FreeStyl launcher allows you to configure 5 pages of 12 icons (60 icons in all) as well as 4 primary icons visible at the bottom of all the pages. To move between the different pages you just slide your finger left or right across the screen to page through the icons. The launcher allows you to either choose a specific background or you can optionally rotate through all the wallpapers in a specified folder at a specified interval.

FreeStyl Locker:
The FreeStyl locker features the same wallpaper engine available in the FreeStyl Launcher and optionally allows you to view a analog or digital clock. It displays all the same notificaiton icons that the Launcher does as well. At the bottom of the screen is a "slide to start" orb that allows you to unlock the locker by sliding your finger from left to right on the screen.

FreeStyl Contacts:
The FreeStyl Contacts application pulls contact information from the standard Windows Mobile contact manager… it even exports all your contact images and shows them along side your contacts in the application… it also features an alphabet filter bar on the left that allows you to filter the list of contacts to a group of letters. To scroll through the contacts you just slide your finger up or down the screen.

Notes:
This is all my own work which i have decided to share, I did not copy anything from anyone, and this includes the skin and the animated wait curser. I made this in late November to early December of 2007.
I would like to thank corleno for his Vista Pocket 2 which gave me the inspiration/ideas that made me create this skin. I am not competing in anyway against corleno/anyones skin.

The new Windows Vista Theme of Nascasho Design is a Windows mobile Theme absolutely succeeded. However WA2 (WisBar Advance 2) and WisBar Advance Desktop are needed. The whole Theme gibts as Windows mobile Freeware with us to the Download.



How to Insall:

Quick Start Guide

So you really just want to jump right in and use the skin right? Wrong. Read the following so you don't start asking questions and pissing people off because you don't read.

*Note: You MUST be experienced at using WAD for the instructions to go smoothly. If not then first consider using the software a bit longer THEN use this skin. You have been warned!

1. Make sure first of all that you have something that can Extract .zip archives. It is recommended though that you also have a .zip extractor on your Pocket PC device just incase that Microsoft Active sync purposely starts converting the .png images to a jpeg format rendering the archive unusable. If not then consider getting either Resco Explorer 2005 or either Spb Pocket Plus 3.
2. First, you must have a storage card available to store the folder and use the WAD theme "out of the box" with its default name, \Storage Card. If not, then consider purchasing Pocket Mechanic or SKTools (Both are great software!) which will change the name of your storage card and format it for you. *Update: Future translations will be available soon.
3. Once you have made sure that you have the correct name of Storage Card next is now creating the folder for Vista Beta ONE to work. Within your Storage Card create a new folder named WAD Skins (Yes this is case sensitive!!!!!) and then copy and paste the VistaBetaONE.zip into the WAD skins folder and extract. You should now see a folder named "Vista Beta ONE WAD".
4. Now, for the most part you can wipe the sweat off of your forehead and give out a deep sigh because the hardest part is done! Whew!
5. Now, last thing to do. Open up the Vista Beta ONE WAD folder and cut the VistaBetaONE.skin file. Go back (make sure you don't exit your file viewer!!) to \My Device and look for a folder named "Themes". Keep opening the folders until you see "default.skin" Remember that VistaBetaONE.skin? Paste it in here.
6. Now open up the "Theme Manager" in Start Menu> Settings> System> Theme Manager, or just tap and hold anywhere in an empty space on your desktop and select "Theme Manager" from the menu.
7. Is your heart pumping faster now that you may see Vista in a few more taps? Good... Open up WA2 and Install the Vista Beta ONE skin. Now within the Theme Manager you should now see "Vista Beta ONE, just tap and hit the green check on the bottom left of your screen poof! Vista!

En un mundo ideal, Ud. sería capaz de crear un documento de Microsoft Word o Excel en su computadora de escritorio, pasarlo a su Handheld PC, darle formato y editarlo fuera de la oficina, para después enviarlo de regreso a su oficina como un archivo .DOC o .XLS, todavía con todo el contenido y su formato intacto.

Esto es lo que los usuarios de Handheld PC esperan de sus computadoras portátiles.

Desafortunadamente, no es así como se da hoy en día. Pocket Word, el "procesador de texto" incluido en todas las Handheld PC, es quizás la más grande decepción de los usuarios de dispositivos portátiles: No tiene encabezados ni pies de página. No tiene tablas. No tiene estructurador ni verificación ortográfica mientras se escribe y el formato de texto es sumamente limitado. ¿Soporte a imágenes? Casi inexistente.

¿Qué sucede entonces durante la conversión de documentos? Tan pronto como pasa Ud. un archivo .DOC a su dispositivo portátil, todas las características que Pocket Word no puede manejar son removidas y descartadas. Pocket Excel no se porta mucho mejor: Soporta sólo la cuarta parte de las funciones matemáticas de Microsoft Excel y quita disimuladamente el resto al abrir un archivo de Excel. Imágenes que han sido cuidadosamente diseñados son reducidos a dibujos de preescolar o descartados por completo. ¿Le sorprendería entonces en algo que Pocket Excel no soporte funciones de dibujo, AutoFormas ni comentarios de celda?
