Después de recibir un par de consultas al respecto, aclaro cómo acceder a la información de la encicloepdia. Una vez descomprimidos las 5 partes del RAR queda una imagen de CD. Se la copia a un CD o se la monta desde el disco rígido. Indistintamente, abrir el siguiente archivo:

/www.mrw.interscience.wiley.com/emrw/9780471238966/kirk/titles.htm

Aparecer el indice alfabetico, desde ahí se accede a los "abstracts", y desde los "abstracts" se accede a los articulos en PDF.
