Desde que Estados Unidos fue fundado en 1776, ha estado en guerra durante 222 de sus 239 años de existencia, es decir, el 93% de su tiempo de existencia. Sólo durante 21 años desde 1776, EEUU ha estado realmente en paz.

Dicho de otra manera:

-Ningún presidente estadounidense se ha podido calificar como presidente en tiempos de paz. Técnicamente, todos los presidentes de Estados Unidos pueden ser considerados “presidentes de guerra.”

-EE.UU. nunca ha pasado una década sin guerra.

-La única vez que EE.UU. estuvieron cinco años seguidos sin guerra (1935-1940) fue durante el período aislacionista de la Gran Depresión, previo a la Segunda Guerra Mundial.

En la segunda guerra mundial terminaron de darse cuenta que la industria bélica es muy lucrativa así que siempre tiene que haber un conflicto en alguna parte del mundo por que esas balas tienen que venderse, si no hay conflicto entonces ellos mismos lo crean sea como sea y eso los ha convertido en maestros para hacer guerras.
