Segunda expansión para Age of Empires III que nos lleva al lejano oriente y a las guerras que asolaron tanto Japón como China e India.
The Asian Dynasties mantiene la mecánica de juego y, aparte de la enorme cantidad de unidades nuevas, sigue siendo Age of Empires III en estado puro. Para crear ejércitos y evolucionar en la historia como la nación predominante tendrás que conseguir recursos: madera, piedra, oro, metal. Sin embargo, las nuevas ciudades tienen mayores posibilidades para mejorar en el combate.
Las tres nuevas civilizaciones -que se unen a los demás imperios que tienen tanto en el juego original como su primera expansión- son las protagonistas de The Asian Dynasties. Por ello, Age of Empires III es uno de los juegos más variados en modo multijugador, sobre todo gracias a la gran variedad de naciones disponibles.
La mayor mejora de esta expansión es la que sufre el apartado gráfico, con unidades muy detalladas y muy fieles a las históricas. La animación de las unidades es excepcional y si acercas la cámara del juego al máximo, observarás como la ropa se pliega al caminar.
Para terminar, el sonido del juego es excelente, concretamente su banda sonora, inspirada en temas orientales como toda esta expansión.
