The Pretenders son un grupo de Rock anglo-americano. La banda originalmente fue formada por su fundadora, autora y vocalista Chrissie Hynde el guitarra principal, James Honeyman-Scott , el bajista Pete Farndon y el batería Martin Chambers. Dicha banda se separó debido a problemas relacionados con drogas y cambios personales que han ocurrido a lo largo de los años siendo Hynde la único miembro constante de dicha banda.
