Zthae — Janet Napolitano said during a hearing on Wednesday to fly unmanned aircraft within the United States could be the next step to ensure 'public safety' at national level.



Napolitano, speaking on the issue of unmanned aerial vehicles during the Committee this week in the Department of Homeland Security, and suggested that UAVs can consistently help national and domestic surveillance may be the next step in accelerating the drone program.

Napolitano suggested that the deployment of unmanned aerial vehicles can proactively make an extra effort in places removed from the U.S. border, this may indeed be the next move.
