Suicidio confiado Biggs de Abraham sobre un webcam. El estudiante del Instituto de Enseñanza Superior de 19 años fijó que él iba a matarse en un foro del bodybuilding varias horas a continuación, pero otros usuarios no lo tomaron seriamente. Él utilizó más adelante Justin.tv para difundir su suicidio, tomando píldoras múltiples y después acostándose en la cama con el suyo de nuevo a la cámara. Varias horas más adelante, los vigilantes del webcam hicieron en cuestión que él no respiraba.
Cuando llegó la policía, Abraham Biggs era muerto. El vídeo del webcam demostró la policía que analizaba la puerta, comprobando para saber si hay un pulso, y después bloqueando la cámara. Una autopsia encontró que él murió de una sobredosis de nacróticos y de benzodiacepina, las drogas usadas para tratar su desorden bipolar. Biggs participó en el foro de BodyBuilding.com debajo del username CandyJunkie y tenía una historia de hacer amenazas contra si.
El miércoles, Biggs dejó un mensaje en un sitio web anunciando que pensaba quitarse la vida.
El moderador y los usuarios de la página aparentemente no le tomaron en serio, porque en el pasado ya había lanzado amenazas de este tipo.
En su habitación
Bigg entonces colgó un vínculo a su cámara web y empezó a retransmitir las imágenes desde su casa.

No está claro cuánta gente estaba mirando lo que ocurría a través de internet, aunque se cree que algunos animaron al joven a suicidarse, mientras otros intentaban hablar con él para convencerle de que no lo hiciera.
El padre de la víctima, Abraham Biggs, dijo estar todavía en estado de shock.
"Me enferma sólo pensarlo. No se lo desearía al hijo de nadie. Era un buen chico", dijo Biggs.
Después de ingerir una combinación letal de medicamentos, el joven permaneció tendido en su cama. Tan sólo luego de que pasaran varias horas sin que se moviera los usuarios de internet que le estaban viendo alertaron a las autoridades.
En la parte final de las imágenes retransmitidas en directo se puede ver a un oficial de policía entrar en la habitación del adolescente empuñando un arma.
Al descubrir el cuerpo de Biggs, el policía tapa con la mano la cámara y pone así fin a la transmisión.

"Nunca se debería haber permitido que continuara. Alguien debería de haber estado controlando lo que pasaba y haber buscado ayuda de inmediato. Apoyaré cualquier regulación que introduzcan para que esto no vuelva a suceder", dijo el padre del joven.
Un joven norteamericano del Estado de Florida se suicidó el pasado miércoles frente a una cámara web que retransmitió en directo su suicidio a través de Internet, según declaró hoy la investigadora forense Wendy Crane a la cadena de televisión ABC.
Abraham Biggs, de 19 años, había comenzado a anunciar su plan 12 horas antes en un portal de la red. Algunos internautas le dieron su apoyo, mientras que otros le rogaron que se cambiara de opinión. Se desconoce cuántas personas presenciaron el proceso. Biggs consumió narcóticos y benzodiazepine, un medicamento para el insomnio y la depresión, con el fin de acabar con su vida. Al menos una de estas dos drogas fue recetada por un médico.
El joven hizo públicas sus intenciones en el foro de Internet bodybuilding.com, donde publicó una nota de suicidio en la que decía: "Me odio a mí mismo y odio vivir (...). He decepcionado a todo el mundo y siento que nunca cambiaré o mejoraré". Además, insertó un enlace al portal Justin.tv para poder ver la secuencia de su suicidio en directo. Uno de los usuarios alertó al moderador del foro, quien llamó a la Policía. Cuando el cuerpo policial llegó a su domicilio, en el área de Pembroke Pines, Biggs ya estaba muerto.
El padre de Abraham reconoció a ABC que su hijo, del que aseguró era "un buen chico", sufría una depresión, pero aseguró que últimamente "estaba mejor". Además, se mostró indignado por que el portal de Internet Justin.tv difundiera el video de Abraham. "Parece que no hay control alguno sobre lo que la gente pone en Internet", dijo Biggs padre, añadiendo que "hay una gran cantidad de basura que no debería (exhibirse), y lamentablemente, se permitió que eso ocurriera". El video y los comentarios de Biggs han sido retirados de Internet.

I’ve finally gotten closuer
I can honestly say I've finally closed a chapter in my life that tonight that ended a long time ago. For my closest friends you know who exactly I'm talking about, but I guess it really does take that last kiss goodbye till you finally turn your back on someone and not even think of looking back.
I also want to take time to apologize to those "fillers" that took a chance with me, God knows you all deserve a medal for even attempting to put up with half my bullshit.
So I liked to thank all of you, Erika (I know I lied to you and played with you, my fault), Aylessa (I know I treated you worst then dirt something, yet you were always there when I told you something was wrong), Mayra (I know you don't totally forgive me, but thats okay, your still there when I need someone to text at 2 in the morning), Fredericka (With you it seems like I lost something really golden, hell you know my mom is constantly asking me when I'm going to talk to you again, my family really does love you, and I know at the moment you probably still hate me but yeah I see where I did you wrong.
