Es un pintor, ilustrador y diseñado de tablas para Baker Skateboards, y miembro del colectivo de artistas Meathaus. Creció en el desierto de Arizona, y se trasladó a Nueva York en 1996 para completar su BFA en Ilustración en la Escuela de Artes Visuales. Después de graduarse en el 2000, pasó los siguientes años trabajaando como animador flash, mientras pintaba en su tiempo libre. Andrews expuso sus pinturas al óleo en coffee shops y shows de grupos hasta aterrizar junto a John John Jesse en la Fuse Gallery de Nueva York en el 2003. Desde entonces ha colaborado con Tara McPherson para un proyecto de DC Comics, y ha creado álbumes de varias bandas. Su arte representa una mezcla de lo grotesco, lo erótico y lo surrealistas, con ciertas dosis de humor e ironía de una manera acorde con otros artistas como el americano Mark Ryden y John Currin. Sus creaciones son totalmente artísticas, no hay nada digital exceptuando su propia web. Pinta óleo sobre madera, aunque también hace ilustraciones, dibujos y esculturas.
