Lo lograste. Tocaste el cielo, alcanzaste la gloria y dejaste un mensaje para todos. El orgullo de tu familia, de tus amigos, de tu ciudad, de todos los que fueron testigos de tu obsesión por esta medalla en los últimos veinte años, se confundieron en esas lágrimas que llegaron desde tan lejos.
Tenés sobre tu pecho la primera medalla olímpica en la historia del ciclismo en la Argentina. La primera medalla dorada para el país en estos Juegos. Hoy todo el mundo habla de vos. En los diarios, desde temprano, las páginas de internet eran encabezadas con tu foto, y con las opiniones de los argentinos. Muchos ni sabían que existías. Otros se acordaban de la bronca que te habías agarrado hace algunos días cuando dijiste que te hubiese gustado ser el abanderado de la delegación argentina en el desfile inaugural. Todos te elogian, te felicitan.
